Instituted 26th September 1939 and awarded for courage in the face of the enemy

Second award bars issued during the war do not carry the date of award on the reverse unlike those of World War One

Ribbons will be stiffened ready for framing and the frame will be fully dust sealed prior to despatch

awarded for 30 days service between 1st January 1957 and 30th June 1960
