Both Bugleweed and its European cousin, Gypsywort (Lycopus europaeus), grow in very wet areas. Other common names for Bugleweed include Ajuga, Ashangee, Chanvre Deau, Green Wolfs Foot, Gypsy Weed, Hoarhound, Menta de Lobo, Pauls Betony, Sweet Bugle and Water Bugle.
